Several paddle categories already sold out

After the exciting news on Monday that the first ever Regatta London is now fully open for public entries, demand for places has been extremely high. In just 48 hours a number of categories have already completely sold out!

General places for paddle boarding and K1/C1 kayak canoeing craft have now sold out. More categories are close to capacity too; with 87% of Big Ben Challenge and 70% of London Crossing K2/C2 places taken. Please be aware that there are just a handful of spaces left for paddle sport hopefuls. Those looking to row, kayak canoe or paddle board on 29 September shouldn’t delay in checking out the ways they can still get involved here.

With the public places now sold out for a number of categories, and others very close behind, the only way to take part in the sold out categories for the highly-anticipated Regatta London event is by securing a charity place for one of our headline charity partners or a number of other fantastic causes. The headline charity partners are:

  • Thames21: empowers communities to bring London’s rivers back to life – to reconnect with nature, take action on climate change, fight plastic, pollution and protect river wildlife
  • London Youth Rowing: open access to indoor and on-water rowing for young people across the Capital, regardless of background, ethnicity, ability or otherwise
  • Mates in Mind: a leading UK charity driving industry change and enabling employers to improve their workforces’ mental health
